Paradox Albinos are the result of a "leaky" gene that still allows the limited production of melanin. This manifests as random black speckling throughout the animal's pattern. We've produced 2 different Paradox Albinos to date, a white phase & a lavender phase, both pictured below. Future breeding will help determine whether or not this trait is genetic in reticulated pythons, or the random occurrence that it seems to be in other snake species.
