This new designer combo caught us off guard. The heterozygous Anthrax gene that makes Granite Backs had a strong effect on the Golden Child pattern and color. The snakes are generally darker with varying degrees of pattern (dorsal spots) reduction but with circles on the sides.  These circles are from the side striping of the Anthrax gene. We were not quite sure what we were expecting but we are quite happy with the resulting clutch. I cannot even imagine what a Golden Child Anthrax will look like, this kind of stuff makes breeding retics fun!
