The Ivory retic is the Super form of the Platinum retic. This nearly Leucistic animal generally has areas of brilliant white and greater areas of orange and yellow with Black Eyes. If you shine a light into the eye it glows red, much like the eye of the Ivory Ball Python. I view these two mutations to be quite similar if not parallel to each other. The heterozygous Platinum gene equates to me as the Yellow Belly ball and both of the homozygous Supers appear as Ivories. As the Ivory retic matures much of the white and orange disappears as the snake turns white with a bit of black pigment speckling. This mutation is very impressive in person and even more once they have hit the 10' mark. To see one of these beast coiled in the classic retic fashion is to stare at the perfect Reticulated Python! Stunning!
